WWE King and Queen of the Ring is coming back.
During a promo segment on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, LA Knight confirmed the return of the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments. “The Megastar” revealed that the tournaments will kick off on next week’s post-Clash in Italty episode of Raw.
Although no other details about the 2026 King and Queen of the Ring tournaments were confirmed, recent history suggests that the finals of the tournaments will take place at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia on June 27. With Knight indicating that the winners of the tournaments will receive future world title shots, there should be plenty of marquee stars vying for the crown and the guaranteed world title opportunity.

WWE Queen of the Ring 2026 Best Choices To Win
Roxanne Perez
With Liv Morgan holding the Women’s World Championship, there’s a potentially intriguing story to tell in Raw’s title scene centering around the possible implosion of The Judgment Day.
There have been cracks in the faction’s foundation over the past several months, and much of the group’s issues have focused on lingering beef between Morgan and Roxanne Perez. Thus far, WWE hasn’t really pushed Perez as a singles star, but as a tremendous overall talent, she just needs the right storyline to be elevated up the card.
One could argue that there is no more intriguing possibility than Perez winning the 2026 WWE Queen of the Ring tournament, and with that victory, earning a shot at her mentor, Morgan.
Charlotte Flair
“The Queen” Charlotte Flair winning the WWE Queen of the Ring tournament sure has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it? WWE has actually already hinted at that possibility, too.
Over the past several weeks, Flair has formed a loose alliance with former bitter rival Rhea Ripley, who just so happens to be the WWE Women’s Champion. During that time, Flair and Ripley have largely been on the same page, but there have been plenty of teases of tension as well.
Connecting the dots here, it’s easy to ascertain that WWE is cooking up something between Flair and Ripley. Although many fans have Flair fatigue in regards to her seemingly constant presence in the title picture, it’s actually been more than three years since she’s held a singles titles.
Perhaps a WWE Queen of the Ring win and feud with Ripley changes that.
Raquel Rodriguez
If you swap out Perez for Raquel Rodriguez in the aforementioned Judgment Day implosion situation, the endgame is still the same: the group, in its current form, comes to an end.
The Judgment Day still has some juice left, but over the past few months especially, WWE has hinted that the ensemble of characters cannot coexist with Perez, Morgan and Rodriguez all still in it. The real question is whether it’s Perez or Rodriguez who goes after Morgan first.
Rodriguez has been right on the cusp of a world title push, one she’s certainly earned, for what feels like forever now. If she can win the 2026 WWE Queen of the Ring tournament, she will finally get that chance while Raw will have a wildly intriguing storyline to build around.
WWE King of the Ring 2026 Best Choices To Win
Drew McIntyre
Based on recent advertisements, Drew McIntyre is likely going to return to WWE programming within the next week or so.
The former multi-time world champion has been off TV since his loss to Jacob Fatu at WrestleMania 42 last month, but with Fatu moving to Raw, that feud appears to be over and done with. McIntyre, whenever he does return to TV, badly needs a character refresh, whether that’s a tweaked gimmick or full-blown babyface turn.
Bringing back McIntyre as a WWE King of the Ring tournament entrant and frontrunner could be a great way to get him back on track as it could potentially lead to a rekindled rivalry with Roman Reigns or Gunther.
Bron Breakker
Bron Breakker was essentially penciled in to win a world title at WrestleMania 42 before an untimely injury derailed his push temporarily.
It’s been about a year since Breakker first appeared to be on the cusp of solidifying himself as a top star, and yet, something unfortunately always seems to prevent that from happening. That’s why the 2026 WWE King of the Ring tournament could not come at a better time for the potential breakout star.
With the winner of the tournament getting a world title shot, Breakker is clearly a strong candidate to win it and then going on to win his first world championship.
Oba Femi
The Oba Femi movement is in full force as “The Ruler” has taken WWE by storm in mere months on the main roster.
The question when WWE catches lightning in a bottle with a new star so quickly is how soon is too soon to push him to the moon. Femi will face Lesnar at WWE Clash in Italy, and how that match plays out will likely determine his immediate future. If he loses, WWE will probably build to a third match at SummerSlam. If he wins, then that feud would almost assuredly be over.
Let’s assume Femi beats Lesnar at WWE Clash in Italy once again. If that’s the case, then he should be the obvious frontunner to win the WWE King of the Ring tournament and potentially capture his first world title at a show like SummerSlam.
