Samsung has officially announced its partnership with Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Throughout the first official trailer, Samsung had multiple cameos, including Peter Parker (Tom Holland) using the Galaxy Z Flip, Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon) with a Galaxy Z Fold, and a scene where an unknown person is wearing a Galaxy Watch.

Beyond the product placement in the film, the collaboration also brings an all-new, one-of-a-kind fan-driven experience that unfolds online and in real-world spaces throughout the summer – the Spidey Tracker.

Sony Pictures and Samsung will release the first-ever fan-powered Spidey Tracker, bringing to life a key element from the new film in which Ned creates a custom website to help locate Spider-Man. Of course, it’s powered by Samsung Galaxy. The interactive campaign invites fans to join as Spider-Man is “spotted at live events and venues, creator videos, and different locations around the world.”

Fans can follow along on the site – SpiderTracker.com – which will officially be available on Wednesday, June 17, at 12 pm PST / 3 pm EST, and ties to the second trailer of Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Another video, released by Sony Pictures, features Ned explaining the inspiration behind his creation of the Tracker in his “NedTalk” and just how it works, which for the campaign, showcases never-before-seen clips and cool events happening.

In the film, taking place four years after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Peter Parker is living alone in New York City. Any memory of him has been erased by Doctor Strange’s spell to protect his loved ones, including MJ (Zendaya) and Ned, who have moved on without him. As he continues to fight crime full-time as Spider-Man, he finds himself undergoing some metaphorical changes and must figure out how to stop them. Maybe that’s why Ned built the Tracker, to help and locate their friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.

Samsung is no stranger to working with superheroes like Marvel and DC Comics. Samsung had previously worked with Marvel on 2015’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron to create the designs for the tech that the Avengers wear through Samsung’s Top Secret Hero Testing Lab. Black Widow could be seen using a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. To celebrate the film, Samsung created an Iron Man edition of the Galaxy S6 Edge, which came in red and gold with a matching wireless charger. The promotions for the Samsung Galaxy X Avengers collaboration also included Argentinian football star Lionel Messi as Iron Man.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day opens in theaters everywhere on July 31.
