London – December 11, 2025 – Forbes today unveiled the 2025 Midas List Europe, the definitive ranking of the top 25 venture capital investors in Europe and the Middle East, in partnership with TrueBridge Capital Partners.

This year’s list reflects an increasingly diversified European VC landscape, with representation continuing to broaden beyond London and several countries featuring more than one investor this year – further evidence of a sector increasingly less anchored to a single geographic center. It also arrives at a pivotal moment for the ecosystem, as big deals from the last cycle age out, major exits like Figma and Chime begin to hit, and a new wave of mega private startups – from fintech leaders like Revolut to AI-driven giants – powers fresh returns.

“The geographic breadth of this year’s cohort is striking, reflecting a European ecosystem that continues to decentralize and deepen across the continent,” said Forbes Senior Editor, Iain Martin “Innovation is flourishing in multiple markets, pointing to a new era for the region’s VC community.”

Notable highlights from this year’s list include:

  • Danny Rimer of Index Ventures takes the top spot.
  • Europe’s expanding tech economy is making the list steadily less London-focused. While there are still multiple London-based investors featured, notable new additions include Romanian Dan Lupu of Earlybird and Germany’s Florian Heinemann of Trade Republic.
  • Several countries boast more than one VCs on this year’s list, including Ireland, Romania, Israel and Germany reflecting the strength and depth of their tech and investment ecosystems.
  • As in 2024, this year’s ranking features investors behind deals with Revolut, Mistral and Monzo, reflecting continued success for the firms associated with these European giants.

Forbes Midas List Europe is a metrics-based ranking of the best venture investors in Europe and the Middle East. With this list, Forbes and TrueBridge Capital Partners highlight investors who have delivered the strongest returns for their limited partners – meaning their portfolio companies have gone public, completed an M&A transaction, or raised rounds of financing at an increased valuation.
