Despite the fact that the band hails from America, Linkin Park has proved itself to be one of the most successful rock groups in the United Kingdom ever since the outfit arrived a quarter-century ago. Linkin Park never fades away entirely from the charts, and in many cases – especially on the rock-focused rosters across the Atlantic – it is one of the most successful acts around.
There are times when Linkin Park fills more spaces than any other singer or group on the rock tallies, thanks to a catalog that includes some of the biggest hard-rocking tracks of the past several decades. Multiple albums by Linkin Park return to various U.K. charts this week, with a pair finding their way back to the same roster and landing just spaces apart from one another.
Linkin Park Brings Two Albums Back to the Same Chart
From Zero and Minutes to Midnight both return to the Official Rock & Metal Albums chart this week. From Zero – which reintroduced Linkin Park as a band with new members in late 2024 – reenters at No. 30, while Minutes to Midnight comes back at No. 39.
Linkin Park Beats The Who and Led Zeppelin
Linkin Park is the only act to see multiple titles return to the Official Rock & Metal Albums ranking this frame. Three other artists — The Who, Led Zeppelin and Slipknot — also bound back onto the tally, but each does so with only one project.
Linkin Park Charts Four Rock Albums in the U.K.
In addition to From Zero and Minutes to Midnight, just as many Linkin Park releases hold on the Official Rock & Metal Albums roster. Hybrid Theory slips two pegs to No. 5, while Meteora climbs from No. 31 to No. 23.
Linkin Park Bests My Chemical Romance and Metallica
Linkin Park claims the most slots on this week’s Official Rock & Metal Albums chart, as it is the only act with four wins – enough to claim 10% of the roster. My Chemical Romance and Metallica come closest to tying Linkin Park, with a trio of albums apiece.

My Chemical Romance scores two top 10s, as Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge and The Black Parade sit at Nos. 4 and 10, respectively. Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys misses out on helping the group triple up inside the most competitive region, as it lands at No. 11.
Metallica sits lower with Master of Puppets, Ride the Lightning and its self-titled album, which appear at Nos. 24, 34 and 37, respectively.
Linkin Park’s Albums Never Stay Away for Long
Both From Zero and Minutes to Midnight have spent more than a year on the Official Rock & Metal Albums tally. The two sets disappeared earlier in August and have been missing for only two weeks. Neither stays away for very long before returning to the genre-specific roster, as they remain top performers nearly every frame.
Linkin Park Charts Hybrid Theory and Meteora Elsewhere
In addition to the Official Rock & Metal Albums chart, both Hybrid Theory and Meteora appear on multiple additional U.K. rankings. Meteora is once again present on both the Official Albums and Official Albums Streaming rosters. Hybrid Theory appears on the Official Albums Sales, Official Physical Albums and Official Vinyl Albums charts.
The latter is the third of Linkin Park’s five charting titles to reappear on any roster this week. Hybrid Theory breaks back onto the Official Vinyl Albums list at No. 40, becoming a strong seller on the format once again.
Linkin Park’s Papercuts Remains a Major Win in the U.K.
Papercuts – Singles Collection 2000-2023 can be found on multiple U.K. rankings at the moment, though notably, it is missing from the Official Rock & Metal Albums chart.
The compilation sits at No. 16 on the Official Albums chart, the country’s main roster of the most-consumed albums and EPs. Papercuts – a compilation that features many of Linkin Park’s most famous singles – is steady at No. 12 on the Official Albums Streaming chart.
