Love Island is so back. The U.S. version of the hit reality dating series premiered on Tuesday, June 2, introducing 10 new Islanders, along with a pair of bombshells, who arrived in Fiji in search of love and the $100,000 cash prize.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Fiji’s Mamanuca Islands, the singles will couple up, share a villa, go on dates and take part in challenges designed to test their relationships and shake up the competition. They’ll be guided by their host, former Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix, who returns after making her debut in Season 6.
Of course, it wouldn’t be Love Island without bombshells. Throughout Season 8, new Islanders will enter the villa in hopes of turning heads and disrupting existing couples. This year’s O.G. cast includes 23-year-old Aniya Harvey from Tyrone, Georgia; 20-year-old Bryce Dettloff from Los Angeles, California; and 25-year-old Beatriz Hatz from San Diego, California. During the premiere, viewers watched as the 10 singles arrived at the villa, met their fellow Islanders, shared their first kisses and coupled up. After spending a day getting to know one another, the contestants were faced with a decision: stick with their current partner or remain open to exploring new connections. The drama ramped up even further when two bombshells arrived and whisked away Islanders who weren’t fully invested in their couples.

When Do New Episodes Of Love Island USA Season 8 Come Out?

New episodes of Love Island USA Season 8 will be released on Peacock six days a week at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT, with Wednesdays serving as the show’s only day off. The only exception is premiere week, when a new episode will air on Wednesday, June 3.
That’s right. The show airs almost daily, with new episodes dropping on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. However, Saturdays are reserved for the series’ official after-show, Love Island: Aftersun, which also streams at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT on Peacock.

Is Love Island USA Season 8 Filmed In Real Time?

Yes, Love Island USA is filmed almost in real time, though episodes typically air with a one- to two-day delay. As Peacock explains, “The show is filmed in real-time, but with Fiji’s 19-hour time difference and editing needs, new Love Island USA episodes are released on a delay.”
The contestants will be staying in a custom-built, two‑story Villa in Fiji, which includes numerous romantic and communal spaces for connections to spark, such as large pool, the Soul Ties daybed, a Speakeasy, a Say Less waterfront lounge and the iconic photo booth.
Madix hinted during the Season 8 villa tour that the villa was designed specifically for “maximum romantic impact.”
How To Watch Love Island USA Season 8
New episodes of Love Island USA Season 8 are exclusively available to stream on Peacock. The Premium Monthly plan is priced at $10.99 per month or $109.99 per year, while the ad-free Premium Plus plan costs $16.99 per month or $169.99 per year.
