LUX Property Group on Sustainability at Nesara Bay City

LUX Property Group says its vision for Nesara Bay City in South Lombok is centered on creating an eco-village city that prioritises environmental and social sustainability.

Rather than pursuing high-rise, high-density development, the project has been designed with strict building height limits, ensuring all structures remain below the natural tree line. Landscaping and greenery will be extensively used to integrate buildings into the environment and preserve the area’s natural character.

From an energy perspective, the development will utilise existing government electricity infrastructure while progressively incorporating solar solutions across villas and shared facilities.

Waste management is also a key focus. The project will include organised garbage collection systems, extensive bin infrastructure, and recycling initiatives. LUX Property Group has also committed to phasing out non-biodegradable plastics within five years.

The design approach aims to work with the natural landscape of South Lombok rather than reshape it. Buildings and infrastructure will follow the land’s natural contours to minimise environmental disruption.

In addition to environmental considerations, the project includes a focus on social sustainability, with plans to support local education initiatives and contribute to the surrounding community.

According to LUX Property Group, the goal is to create a development that delivers long-term sustainability through practical, measurable initiatives rather than relying on “green” branding alone.
