Madonna Scores A New Hit And Slips From No. 1 On The Same Chart

Much of Madonna’s phenomenal success has come thanks to her ability to craft the kind of song that fills the dance floor. While her hits have reached Billboard charts that are specific to several different styles, including pop and R&B, she will forever be known as one of the greatest dance artists of all time.

Several of Madonna’s most recent albums have not performed as well on Billboard‘s dance-specific tallies as some might assume, especially considering the reputation she built for herself in the earliest decades of her career. It was only a few days ago that she scored her first No. 1 on one dance roster in quite some time, and now even as she cedes her control over the throne, Madonna manages a feat she hasn’t accomplished in well over a decade.

Madonna Debuts “Bring Your Love” on Another Radio List

Madonna’s “Bring Your Love,” a collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter, was pushed several weeks ago as the major single from her upcoming album Confessions II. The track quickly debuted on several American charts, including the Billboard Hot 100 and a number of pop and dance lists, and in the nearly-month since then, “Bring Your Love” has either disappeared or started to fall on a handful of them.

This week, the duet opens on the Dance/Mix Show Airplay roster, one of a number of radio tallies that look at just one genre. This time around, “Bring Your Love” is new at No. 36, earning both powerhouses another top 40 success.

“I Feel So Free” Led the Charge Only Last Week

Six weeks ago, “I Feel So Free,” the first song shared from Confessions II, landed on the same register. It was just last week that the solo cut pushed to the highest space, earning Madonna her eighth leader and first since 2008. “I Feel So Free” slips to third place, making room for Fisher and Tones and I to send their team up “Favour” to No. 1.

Madonna Has Scored Multiple New Dance Hits in 2026

2026 is now the relatively rare year in which Madonna has racked up multiple new hits on the Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart. This calendar year is not the first time she’s done so, but the Grammy winner has not managed this showing in well over a decade.

The last time Madonna accomplished this specific feat was in 2012, when the singer was heavily promoting her album MDNA. Two singles from that project, “Give Me All Your Luvin'” with both Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., and “Girl Gone Wild,” broke onto the tally. Those tracks narrowly missed out on entering the top 10, as “Give Me All Your Luvin'” stalled at No. 11, while “Girl Gone Wild” peaked at No. 15.

Madonna Matches Several Busy Years

Madonna has also debuted a pair of tunes on the Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart in 2003, her first year on the list, and now 2012 and 2026. In both 2006 and 2008, she collected a trio of wins, and those years are tied as her most prolific.

“Bring Your Love” Becomes Madonna’s Eighteenth Hit

“Bring Your Love” is Madonna’s eighteenth career hit on the Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart, and her second-lowest-peaking. Only “I Rise” stalled in a lower position, and by just one spot.

Carpenter, who now claims 11 smashes on the tally, has seen two tracks stop their ascent in less impressive spaces. “Nonsense” topped out at No. 37 back in 2023, while “First Love,” a collaboration with Lost Kings, only spent one frame at No. 39 on the 40-space chart.
