Pop star Miley Cyrus is thrilled about Mattel’s release of a Barbie doll that is based on the singer’s look in her “Golden Burning Sun” music video.
The Barbie doll is the latest honor for Cyrus in 2026. On May 22, she was bestowed with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Now, following in the footsteps of singing icon Stevie Nicks — who had Barbie dolls made of her as a member of Fleetwood Mac and another as a solo artist featuring her Bella Donna album look — Cyrus has officially been immortalized in plastic.
“Seeing my Barbie for the first time is a dream come true,” Cyrus said in a statement from Mattel.
According to Mattel, Cyrus’ Barbie doll “celebrates the transformative sound and cultural footprint she has made as a musician, actress and advocate for self-expression.”
Cyrus’ Barbie, which features a faux-leather two-piece pant set, hooded jacket, pointed-toe black pumps and a microphone in hand, is available to purchase online at Mattel Creations’ retail site, as well as Amazon, Target and Walmart.

Miley Cyrus Helped Design Her Barbie Doll
“Golden Burning Sun” is feautured on Miley Cyrus’ album Something Beautiful, which was released in May 2025. Cyrus said in a statement from Mattel on Tuesday how important it was to be involved in the creative process of her making her own Barbie doll.
“We spent so much time really digging into the details,” Cyrus said. “That’s something that wasn’t just important to me in designing the Barbie, but it’s also very important to my own creativity and the way that I represent myself.
“We did not miss any marks when it came down to the design of my doll from the look, the hair, the accessories, the makeup, and the structure. Every detail was purposeful, and we spent a lot of time perfecting her — not to be perfect, because that wouldn’t be representative of me, but to really get down to the details of this ‘Golden Burning Sun’ look.”
