When Nicki Minaj will release the follow-up to her 2023 album, Pink Friday 2, is unclear, as the hip-hop superstar has not yet delivered a project that she announced would arrive by the spring. The date which she published in a post on X (formerly Twitter) stated that another full-length would arrive in March, but her specified date came and went with no new music. Minaj was reportedly initially planning on reissuing Pink Friday 2 with multiple new songs, but instead chose to move on from that era and instead focus on an entirely new studio LP.

As fans wait to hear from the chart-topper again, and as Minaj continues to align herself with the current presidential administration in the U.S. – she will reportedly appear at this year’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner – the rapper earns a new top 10 hit on two Billboard charts.

Nicki Minaj and Justin Bieber’s “Beauty And A Beat” Returns

Alongside Justin Bieber, Minaj launches into the top 10 on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. with “Beauty and a Beat.” The decade-plus-old track, featured on the Canadian pop singer’s album Believe, was a major hit when it arrived, although at the time, Billboard had not yet introduced either of the worldwide rosters.

Following his headlining spot at Coachella, many of Bieber’s tunes are on the rise, and he collects many debuts on tallies like the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. “Beauty and a Beat” opens at No. 4 on the completely worldwide roster and at No. 3 on the list that excludes all consumption from the U.S.

“Beauty And A Beat” Marks New High for Nicki Minaj

In both cases, Minaj reaches a new career high with “Beauty and a Beat.” She doubles her total number of top 10s on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., as her Bieber collaboration outpaces “Barbie World.” Minaj’s team-up with Ice Spice and Aqua, which was written and recorded for the movie Barbie, stalled at No. 6 back in the summer of 2023.

On the Billboard Global 200, Minaj claims four top 10s, and “Beauty and a Beat” bests her previously-set high by just one spot. Nicki Minaj’s own “Super Freaky Girl” opened at No. 5 in August 2022. The following summer, “Barbie World” danced to No. 6, and earlier in 2022, “Do We Have a Problem?” a collaboration with fellow rapper Lil Baby, rocketed to No. 7.

Nicki Minaj Hits Milestone Totals on Global Charts

On the two worldwide rosters, Minaj reaches a milestone number of hits thanks to the arrival of “Beauty and a Beat.” On the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., the Grammy-nominated hip-hop musician is up to 15 appearances. She has performed significantly better on the Billboard Global 200, as she remains one of the biggest musical stars in America. On that tally, Nicki Minaj has now racked up a total of 35 smashes.

Justin Bieber Expands Global Top 10 Track Count

When it comes to Bieber, he has landed nine top 10s on both the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. On the Billboard Global 200, “Beauty and a Beat” ties with both “Hold On” and “Monster,” which is fronted by Shawn Mendes. All three are matched as his sixth-highest-rising tunes.

“Beauty and a Beat” becomes Bieber’s third-highest-peaking track on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. Only his two No. 1s – “Stay” with The Kid Laroi and “Peaches,” which also credits Daniel Caesar and Giveon – have run the show. Several other favorites, including “Daisies” and the aforementioned “Monster,” surged to No. 4.

“Beauty And A Beat” Returns to U.S. Charts Again

“Beauty and a Beat” becomes a major hit in America again at the same time that it debuts on the global rosters. The dance-pop cut breaks back onto the Digital Song Sales chart at No. 8. It reenters the Streaming Songs tally at No. 15 and finds its way to No. 26 on the Billboard Hot 100.
