Sabrina Carpenter has spent the past several years as a near-constant winner on the charts in the United Kingdom. The pop superstar regularly occupies multiple spaces on the songs rankings, while both Short n’ Sweet and its quickly-released follow-up, Man’s Best Friend, continue to appear on a number of albums tallies week after week.
Carpenter claims five hits in the U.K. this time around, including solo smashes from two eras and her recent collaboration with Madonna. Three of those tunes return to various rankings, as some of the singer’s biggest successes prove that they remain popular enough to sell, in some instances, years after they were first released.
“Espresso” and “Please Please Please” Return
“Espresso” and “Please Please Please,” the first two singles from Short n’ Sweet, both reenter the Official Physical Singles chart together. The ranking tracks the bestselling individual tunes in the U.K. on physical formats, including vinyl and CD, while downloads and streams do not play a role. “Espresso” returns at No. 52, while “Please Please Please” reappears much lower, at No. 95, barely managing to find space on the tally.
Sabrina Carpenter Fills Three Spaces on the Same Chart
Carpenter occupies three positions on the Official Physical Singles chart this frame. As “Espresso” and “Please Please Please” return, “Tears” nearly disappears. The Man’s Best Friend cut tumbles more than 40 spaces, falling from No. 53 to No. 96.
“Please Please Please” is one of two Carpenter singles that have ruled the physical ranking, along with “Manchild.” “Espresso” and “Tears” both missed becoming champions by only one space, as each peaked at No. 2. “Taste” also stalled in the runner-up rung, making it the third hit by the Grammy winner to come within one position of the top without dominating.
“Bring Your Love” Returns to the U.K.’s Songs Chart
“Bring Your Love,” Carpenter’s team-up with Madonna, returns to the Official Singles chart at No. 63. The tally is the most competitive songs ranking in the U.K., and it is compiled using both sales and streaming activity.
The duet originally brought both women back into the top 40 when it launched at its No. 29 peak in May. It now finds space on the list for only the fourth week.
Madonna Helps Sabrina Carpenter Return to Multiple Tallies
The comeback is connected to the release of Madonna’s Confessions II, which includes “Bring Your Love.” The album debuts on nine U.K. rankings this week and reaches No. 1 on seven of them, including the Official Albums chart, where it gives Madonna a lucky and historic thirteenth leader. The project only misses the summit on the Official Albums Streaming roster where it begins its run at No. 7.
“Bring Your Love” Is Carpenter’s Biggest Hit This Week
“Bring Your Love” is the only one of Carpenter’s five charting songs in the U.K. this week, and all of them can be found on multiple rankings. In addition to returning to the main consumption-based roster, the duet climbs on the two sales tallies where it appeared just days ago.

The collaboration steps from No. 44 to No. 38 on the Official Singles Sales chart, returning to the top 40 on the most competitive of the two purchase-focused lists. “Bring Your Love” also inches one rung No. 34 on the Official Singles Downloads ranking.
“Manchild” Climbs on the Streaming List in the U.K.
“Manchild” is Carpenter’s fifth and final smash in the U.K. this week, and it is the only one that appears exclusively on the streaming tally. While her four other charting songs are all bestsellers, the former smash and lead Man’s Best Friend single rises eight spaces on the Official Streaming chart, moving upward to No. 70.
