There’s A Way ‘Gen V’ May Now Live On After ‘The Boys’ Finale

I was originally going to write something here about how after The Boys finale, Gen V should be uncancelled by Amazon, brought back to life for a third season after clear fan interest in the characters, or lack thereof, in the final season of the main series.

But it’s effectively impossible. Shows are almost never brought back to life like that, and there’s no Marie Moreau to make that happen in real life. It cost too much, not enough people watched it, that was pretty much it. I would love, love, love a Gen V season 3, but it doesn’t seem realistic.

What does seem realistic is that I think Eric Kripke is going to go out of his way to ensure that the cast of Gen V, at least the main chunk of it, is going to continue to persist in The Boys universe. He’s said as much, and the cast members are even saying things like “it’s not goodbye, it’s see you later.” But how that would come to pass has always been confusing.
